I have noticed the verse 1 of Psalm 51 is missing in the Hebrew version I love really love this app as it helps me have a better understanding of the word of G-d given to His people and I hope this missing verse will be missing no more quite soon. Thanks.

Great potential ... Long waited options ... But it crashes every time you try to change the reference tool, linked or unlinked to the main text. Quick help needed. I have a lot of work waiting to be done and I was counting on Accordance. Thanks.

This update finally brings, among other improvements, the full-screen option. And its a pleasure to use it reading and studying biblical texts. There are also several improvements of the overall look-and-feel of this app. Now, for the first time, I can see myself using it exclusively without feeling the need to switch back and forth between Accordance and other bible study apps. Great update!

Ive been using this program on my Macs for years. This app works very well on my iOS devices. It has a very rich selection of content that works very smoothly on all devices.

This is a great start from the Accordance folks. It is absolutely wonderful to be able to use my existing modules, but this is a great offering even without those. There are a couple of features that I hope to see in the future: Id love to be able to bookmark resources in the iOS app--it feels more like an eReader than the desktop app for some reason--and more graceful handling of module downloading among them. Id also love to see better multitasking support while downloading and some way to sync my notes from the desktop app (maybe already there, but I havent found it yet). Otherwise, great, great stuff, Oaktree!

Very happy with the ability to upload my library and do complex searches on the go. Only drawback is that I am hoping that the amplify function will be added soon, without it word studies are a little tedious but still doable.

Constantly crashes on iPhone.

I use this in our Bible studies and it is excellent. No crashes just works. I would like to be able put the books and reference notes in alphabetic order to shorten the time to find each. Great work keep it up.

First of all, I want to thank Accordance to create this app, enabling me to carry my whole library on the go. However, in terms of interface, I think it definitely needs to be improved. For example, if I want to change the colour of the text or the background, I need to press at least eight buttons to complete this simple task. Also, since I have a massive library with many titles and modules, to locate any of them is very very cumbersome because every time I have to scroll the long list. Another thing is that the name is a short name so that I do not know what the title is really about. I know this app is 1.2 and it has a long way to get improvement. But the interface of other bible apps, to be honest, is much better. I am looking forward something better in the future. Thanks.

Strengths: - Can sync with computer version of Accordance, allowing you to have any of your computer tools on your iPhone/iPad. While I dont plan to use my iPhone as my major research tool, it is nice to have my library handy - A HUGE number of possible modules which can be added - Decent interface - PRICE! - Improving steadily - Great company developing the software Weaknesses: - Searching still has some rough edges I can not recommend Accordance enough. It alone has made the switch to Mac for me, as a theologian and professor, worth it.

Each version gets better and v. 1.4 has improved things with navigation for accessing different texts and tools and also with the improved pop-up windows. Another new feature that is nicely done is the devotional feature that will show the current days devotional. One thing that would still be nice to see is a full screen option for displaying the Bible text on the iPhone/iPod Touch. Overall I like this app and also how it works with the Mac application.

I love this app so much. It allows me to read my commentaries more like books which is awesome. My only complaint is that I cant highlight more then a word in my modules. As I read i want to be able to highlight the important pieces for my study but unfortunately The highlight only allows me to highlight by the word. Please add this ability it would make the app become that much more amazing. Thanks for all your hard work on this

I am very happy with this app, it is well designed making it easy to navigate. Syncing between my iMac and iPod touch works very well and there are many options available to customize this app to suit your personal taste. Alot of thought has gone into the small details that make this software wonderful to use, the people at Accordance did a great job. Its nice to have this resource with me wherever I go. This is a nice addition that will compliment your desktop version of Accordance..

I just had to write a review to say how much I love the improvements in this version. The UI has been made much simpler and I really appreciate the night mode for reading; it reduces the amount of light my iphone emits by at least 50%. The new search UI is a tremendous improvement as well. Thanks accordance; keep up the great work!

Ive used Accordance for years, and it just gets better and better. And the ease of use of the iOS version is excellent. The syncing of highlights and user notes with my desktop app, and the bookmarks between iOS apps… all excellent.

Surprised at how far the user experience has come - what great refinements you continue to make!!

I think the application is fantastic but aesthetically, it could use some tweaking. I just wish space could be utilized better within the app. The header is a bit large as well as the parallel divider. I find it to be somewhat distracting and bulky especially when all you see is the tab when it is collapsed. The gradient accents are also a little tacky and dated. The app could better follow the iOS 7 guidelines, however its not that far off. In terms of functionality, it would be great to know the eta and status of the downloads instead of just a warning. Other than that, the app is great and so is the Mac software.

This app really needs a lot more attention. Just to give one example of a glaring flaw: the so-called “simple install” of purchased modules is neither simple, nor does it appear to install anything. There is no progress bar, no indication of what is happening, and apparently if you switch apps or even move to another part of this app, the entire download is cancelled. Thing is, you have no idea if the download has even started. This is an egregious error, and unspeakably bad programming. The sad thing is that this has been pointed out already many YEARS ago. Either someone isn’t earning his pay, or Accordance is using hacks in the iOS development department. Too bad that this is making a great Mac OS product look shabby on iOS.

This latest version of Accordance iOS offers powerful new tools for customizing your notes. This program offers one of the most complete Bible study program free. Not only do you get in the iOS app original language options with ESV tagged with strongs. But when you register with them, as described in the description, you get many more modules that will satisfy a great many users. And best of all this fast well written program works completely offline when installed unlike some other Apps. I have a few different iOS Bibles… but this is one of the first I goto when I grab my iPhone. This APP had some limitations when it was in it’s 1.x life, but they have all been done away with, and I would have no issues directing everyone who wants a power fast Bible on their phone. Now as powerful as the free version is they offer a wide variety of resources for sale that will likely accommodate most of your Bible study desires (they do not offer everything under the sun, but they offer most all of the best of the best and are constantly adding new books). Great for original language (and related) reading - paragraph mode, nice fonts, and no need for an Internet connection. Great staff - a small development team that goes above and beyond. Great Forums.
