Installed update and it has rendered the iPad version inoperable. Works on my iPhone but crashes on iPad. Please fix.

Hands down, this is the best Bible software on the market.

I dont know if this has already been discussed, or if I just dont know how to use the app for iPhone very well, but I would like to see the ability to search original language dictionaries from a highlighted word in the Bible. As far as I can see, if I want to search BDAG, for instance, I have to open the BDAG resource and type in or copy and paste the word or phrase in Greek into that particular search field. It would be great if with the instant details there was an option to search additional resources. It would also be nice if I could have a Greek resource, like BDAG, in the drop-down parallel pane. Logos app has the capability to do a word search in a drop down parallel pane, and keep the original text and the other pane. Accordance app is so much better in basically every way, except for this!

I have been using the Accordance app for iPad & iPhone since the beginning. Each new release adds greater utility. Being able to untie the two panes is great. I can keep my focus text in place and browse a commentary or study Bible. Search capability of both Bible texts & other resources is excellent. Do you want to be able to find a particular Greek verb but only in the 3rd person singular, perfect passive indicative? Accordance Mobile can do it. Almost everything I own in Accordance can go on my iPad and iPhone. I have a fairly limited install on the phone because of small screen size — a bunch of Bible versions, a couple of lexicons, a dictionary and a study Bible. However, on my iPad I have installed everything that I use regularly. The free version comes with a nice selection of texts and tools. For those of us who started with the desktop version, almost everything we own in Accordance Mac/PC can go on the iPad (excepted are the full Maps & Timeline). The hyperlinks & quality of the formatting make this app a must-have for those who want to be able to take an extensive library for Bible study with them in pocket or handbag.

Love the app, but this version frequently crashes and exits. Please fix this bug.

I like the Accordance app on both my Mac and my iPhone and have used it until recently on my iPad 2 until it just quit working. Every time when I open it now and select any kind of operation beside scrolling, it will immediately quit. I’ve tried rebooting my iPad but to no avail. This has been my go to Bible study app, so this it is very disappointing to take my iPad out the mix. I have been checking the App Store every day for the release of this app. I was prepared to pay $$$ for this so imagine my surprise that the app was free! I have downloaded the app, added a lot of my content and tried out many of the modules. Everything works the way I would expect from an Accordance application - high quality. Ive not found any real glitches, which is pretty amazing for a version 1.0 app and have now gone and uninstalled my other Bible apps from my iPhone. Why mess with them when you have the best. I look forward to see how OakTree Software improves on this initial release. They have definitely set a high bar.

I have been using Accordance for over three years and it is absolutely my favorite resource for Bible study. I highly recommend it.

New essential to my mornings.

This app crashes every time I hold down for extended details on Greek or English or Hebrew texts. It has made the app unusable and it deeply frustrating with as much money as I have put into accordance software.

In reply to "frustrated_pastor"s review of ver 2.2 - Please contact tech support! We cannot reply to reviews, nor are we supplied with any contact info. On 2 different devices I cannot reproduce your crash. We need more information on your setup to try and diagnose it.

Upgrade is broken. Now crashes every time I try to open it. HELP!

Every time I tap on the icon it crashes but shows the bible pages when I double click the home button. I click on the app and it crashes again

I wish I could download the modules that I have already purchased. Deleted the app and reinstalled with no success.

Every time I tap on Amplify from within a search, the app hangs for a minute or so, then crashes. I have seen many problems with this app that have gone unfixed. Accordances default response is: we cant duplicate this problem, so it must be a problem with your device, environment, computer, etc. Accordance is much more focused on releasing new modules for a significant cost to the customer than to improving the already buggy software. Accordance is not alone in this. Every Bible software vendor I have experience with does the same thing: they expect their Christian customers to be grateful for every update and silent about every flaw (this is most evident on the forums) even though many of us have spent many thousands of dollars on resources. If youre a Christian, of course, we should behave do our utmost to honor Christ, but that does not mean that we should accept poor quality control from a software vendor for products bought and paid for.

Unstable; cant open app for more than a half second. Deleting app as of 9-20-15. R/ GB

Accordance has done a wonderful job building their app and keeping it up-to-date. It is one of the best Bible apps on the market. It has a complete set of tools for casual reading in deep study. I have enjoyed it very much.

An app that keeps getting better. The 2.0 update made it s lot faster. My only criticism is that they could find some more space on the iPhone version. Otherwise its good.

I downloaded the app though I already have another Bible app that works for me. If you want to force me to sign up, ok, Ill give in. But why do I need a complex password for a Bible app? Its a real turn off.

The 3 stars are because I loved the previous version of this app, but it wont open for me. Its just stuck. This is my preferred bible app for church so its hard to be without it. I have an iPhone 6. I hope you fix the app soon!

Ive had this app ever since it came out. I love it and use it everyday. I have tons of resources for this so I am very dependent upon it. The next version will have the split screen added to it. It is much faster than Logos but not as pleasing to the eye as OliveTree. I have all three. For Greek and Hebrew, this is one of the best. Each version gets better. Syncing can be a problem at times (with my Mac) but it has worked out well. I cannot recommend this enough. It is the "go to" app for my reading. I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to sing its praises. I rarely have had problems with it. Logos has crashed on me many times but this is stable and reliable. I am using the latest iPad Mini 4 and cant wait until split screen becomes available.
